25 weeks!

Hello all! Just wanted to check in. We are officially 25 weeks today. I still can't believe it. We saw the doctor yesterday and all is well. The babies are measuring about 1.5lbs each (right on target) they are still very active, although a little squished. Everything still looks great so no bedrest required yet, YAY!

I had my last appointment in NYC with SIRM last Friday. It was my last Intralipid session. Normally they only continue until 20 weeks but since it seemed to be working I went once more.

I feel pretty good. The belly certainly gets in the way of stuff - but I think that's to be expected. My doctor told me yesterday that I am basically the size of a full term pregnancy. Wow - and we still have 7 weeks to make it to the 32 week mark! So far I have only gained 24lbs but I am sure that will begin to add up quickly now that the babies will be gaining weight quickly.

They move around quite a bit, what an amazing feeling. Sometimes I think they might even be interacting with each other. I will treasure this experience forever.

Anatomy Scan

Ok - here is the exciting stuff! We had our 20 week (6 day) anatomy scan this morning. All 3 babies have all parts and all is working the way it's supposed to. We even got some 3D pictures of the little ones today. I swear our daughter is already saying "oh - these boys are driving me nuts..." (She is Baby C by the way).

Took the babies to their 3rd Yankee Game on Friday night. We got to see Derek Jeter break Lou Gehrig's record. I guess we'll have to frame that picture and hang it in the boys room.

I am happy to say that this pregnancy is still uneventful. I have been sleeping better and can't really complain. God has certainly blessed me, and I thank him daily for that!

I know - I know - I am soooo behind. Here was a shot of the little ones at 17 weeks.

17 weeks 2 days

Well here I am at 17 weeks... feels like I am growing by the day! Well - I guess I am huh?

I really have no complaints - except sleeping is getting a little more difficult. I ordered a pregnancy pillow that should arrive today. I can honestly say I have never been so excited to go to sleep... I just hope it works as well as all the reviewers say!

Get to see the little ones tomorrow. I am very excited about that. I just wish I could spend a little more time watching them. I feel like my appointments are so rushed. I think I felt one of them moving around quite a bit while I was reading in bed. It was definitely one of the boys. What an amazing feeling.

16 Weeks - 4 months

Hello Friends,

I have been a bad Poster - I know. And I am so sorry! It seems like things are always changing and busy and I neglect this site.

Well - we have some pretty exciting news. All 3 babies are doing great! We did CVS testing on the babies at just over 12 weeks to make sure they were all healthy. And the results are - 3 PERFECT BABIES. We are having 2 boys and 1 girl. Hubby and I are beyond excited. We can't believe we have been blessed with such precious gifts and are grateful every day.

Typically triplets arrive around 32 weeks - which makes us halfway there - and makes their due date December 1st - my Birthday - what a great present! I promise I will try to update more frequently.

11 Weeks today!

I am so sorry that I have been a bad poster. As usual it's been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster for us. We were referred to a specialist. It seems there is some concern with the progress of Baby A (the bottom pic). The sac is measuring much smaller. So it's kind of a wait and see game right now.

Baby B & C are doing great. Which is wonderful news. Thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers. We get to see them this Friday for the NT scan. We are so thankful to be so close to the end of the first trimester!

Ummm.... TRIPLETS?

Hello all,

Hubby and I had our first Ultrasound on Monday. We were 5weeks 6 days, still quite early. They do it mainly to make sure everything is in it's place. We go back next Wed for U/S #2 to see the heartbeat(s).

The doctor kept looking around, different angles - and wasn't saying much. Which of course was making me nervous. Then he asked "so how many did we put back again"? I reminded him that it was 4 embryo's. He responded "well, there are definitely 2 over here, and there appears to be a 3rd down here".... !

WOW! 3 sacs. Of course he reminded us that next week could be something different, there may be only 2 or 1 with a heartbeat. But we are thrilled. Just to see everything in the right place is beyond exciting! I am nervous about having triplets (for lots of reasons) but I know we can handle anything. We are so blessed!

The doctor tried to get them all in one picture but wasn't able to - so here's a pic of two of them - and the 3rd by him/herself!
